Can I view prices in my local currency?

At this time, we only offer pricing in USD. Currency conversion is handled automatically by your payment provider.

Product Questions

Do you offer samples or travel sizes?

Our full-size products are concentrated in a travel friendly size of 30 ml each and long-lasting with just a few drops per use.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Each product is best used within 12 months unopened and 6 months after opening. Store in a cool, dry space away from heat or sunlight.

Should I refrigerate your products?

No refrigeration is necessary. Just keep them in a dry, stable environment for freshness.

Are essential oils safe in your products?

Our formulas contain minimal, purposeful amounts of a few essential oils. All our products are dermatologist-tested and non-irritating.

When will I see results?

Hydration and softness can be felt immediately. With consistent use, you’ll notice improvements in tone, texture, and glow within 2-6 weeks.

Are your products safe for pregnancy?

Our formulas are gentle and natural. However, we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider if you are pregnant.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

We are Leaping Bunny certified, so cruelty free and our products are 100% natural. Our Brilliance Oil Concentrate is 100% plant based. Our Superior Refining Serum contains propolis extract which is not considered vegan..

Do your products contain allergens like soy, wheat, or dairy?

Our current line is free from soy, wheat, and dairy. Please review the ingredient list or email us with specific concerns.

Are your ingredients organic?

We use organic whenever possible, always prioritizing purity, sustainability, and performance.

 


 

Skincare Practices & Philosophy

Can I travel with your products?

Yes—all bottles are TSA-compliant and perfect for travel practices.

I’m new to clean beauty. Where do I start?

Begin with our Brilliance Oil Concentrate and follow with our Superior Refining Serum.

Do I need to switch my entire routine right away?

We recommend trying the edited multifunctional approach Dr. Hopiola provides: 

Cleanse. Brilliance Oil Concentrate. Superior Refining Serum. Sunscreen. That’s it.

Are natural ingredients always better than synthetic?

Not always, but at Dr. Hopiola, we choose high-performing natural actives intended to  prevent premature aging and restore your overall skin barrier function.

Can I use your products with retinol or other actives?

Our products are formulated with bakuchiol, the natural alternative to retinol in order to allow for better tolerance. We invite you to try the Dr. Hopiola products without retinol and document your glow.

Why include mindfulness in skincare?

Because how you care for yourself is just as important as what you use on your skin. A moment of slow breathing and gentle touch calms the nervous system and transforms your routine into a practice where you start and end your day with calmness and clarity.

Do you have a storefront I can visit?

We’re online-only for now. Stay tuned for future pop-ups or in-person experiences by joining our newsletter.

Do you offer refills or a take-back program?

Not yet. All packaging is recyclable, and we encourage reuse where possible.

Can I customize a formula?

Our current offerings are fixed. Each formula is crafted by Dr. Hope Ijaola for multifunctional benefits and universal skin support.

What does the name Dr. Hopiola mean?

It honors our founder, Dr. Hope Ijaola, and her vision for skincare that’s rooted in nature, elevated by science, and connected to self.

 


 

Shipping & Returns

When will my order ship?

Orders typically take 4–5 business days to process before shipping. Once shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details. Orders are fulfilled Monday through Friday, excluding holidays or unforeseen delays.

Can I change my order after placing it?

To ensure quick delivery, all confirmed orders are processed immediately. We are unable to make changes once your order is in progress.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship throughout the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii. PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses are accepted via standard ground shipping only. We do not offer international shipping at this time, but you may join our waitlist by contacting us at youmatter@drhopiola.com.

What are your shipping rates?

Standard U.S. shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address. Shipping is free on all U.S. orders over $200 (before tax and shipping). Expedited 2-day shipping is also available at an additional cost.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes. Applicable taxes are calculated based on your shipping destination and will appear on your final order receipt.

What if my package is lost or marked delivered but I didn’t receive it?

We understand how frustrating this can be. If your tracking shows "delivered" but you haven’t received the package, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim. While Dr. Hopiola is not responsible for packages once marked delivered, we’re happy to assist with documentation to support your claim.

 


 

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We want you to feel great about your experience. If you’re unsatisfied, eligible items purchased from drhopiola.com may be returned within 30 days of shipment—provided they are unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Returns are subject to a $20 restocking fee, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.

How do I start a return?

Please email youmatter@drhopiola.com within 30 days of your shipment date. Include your order number and reason for return. Kindly allow up to 5 business days for a response.

What is the restocking fee for?

The $20 restocking fee covers the cost of inspection, materials, and handling needed to safely return your product into our inventory.

Do you accept used returns or final sale items?

No. We only accept unopened, unused items. Final sale items, as noted on product pages, are not eligible for return.

Can I exchange a product?

We do not offer exchanges at this time.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your returned item arrives in good condition, your refund (minus shipping and restocking fees) will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for your credit card company to process the refund.

Do you accept returns from international customers?

We currently do not accept international orders or returns.

What if my return is damaged when you receive it?

If returned items arrive visibly damaged and not due to shipping carrier issues, they may not qualify for a refund.

Can I return items I purchased through another retailer or clinic?

Returns for purchases made through another retailer must be processed through that location and are subject to their return policy.

Do you limit returns?

To ensure fairness, Dr. Hopiola reserves the right to limit returns in cases of suspected misuse, excessive return patterns, or fraudulent activity.
